Business conduct and ethics

1. The rules of work ethics of the Bank are the norms based on universal features of morality, regulating the specifics of conduct, behavior and relationships of the Bank's employees, which shall be observed by employees in the course of implementation of their duties.

2. The three essential qualities possessed by each employee of the Bank shall be respect, honesty and dignity.

3. The Bank fosters teamwork and respect for each other and values personal interests of its employees. Each employee may come up with their own initiatives and ideas, contributing to the efficiency of the relevant activity.

4. Each employee of the Bank must have the necessary level of skills, inter alia:

a) Professional knowledge and work experience as required

b) Expertise in computer and other modern technical means

c) In cases provided for in the employment contract, knowledge of foreign languages

d) Faculty of discernment and navigation in different situations

e) Sufficient knowledge of RA legislation and internal legal acts of the Bank

f) Customer service skills as required

g) Other skills and abilities arising from the employment contract.

5. Rules of conduct and ethics observed by employees of the Bank shall be as follows:

a) respect the established corporate interests and policy pursued by the Bank

b) refrain from actions that may hinder or discredit and compromise the business reputation of the Bank

c) be guided by moral norms based on principles of justice and honesty

d) be objective, impartial, reserved and exemplary  

e) preclude rudeness in dealing with customers and employees

f) show courtesy towards one another

g) contribute, by their conduct, to maintaining the customer's belief that the banking system is based upon honesty and efficiency

h) refrain from using and disclosing information constituting a banking secret, obtained in the course of the work performed

i) refrain from receiving gifts, funds or services from other parties for the performance of his/her job duties

j) be accountable to the Bank's management

ja) fulfill his/her responsibilities under the employment contract in an appropriate and timely manner

jb) show respect to customers, refrain from refusing to answer questions raised by customers

jc) speak clearly and concisely, treat the customer with dignity, act fairly and professionally.
