Artsakh Orchestra Gives its First Major Concert under AraratBank’s Sponsorship
On May 5, an unprecedented cultural event - the first major performance of the Artsakh Chamber Orchestra - took place at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. The hall was filled to capacity with distinguished guests, a bustling lobby, and conversations about music.
“The name Artsakh Chamber Orchestra carries deep significance. It is worth noting that the orchestra was established in 2004 in honor of Artsakh and its government, for the people of Artsakh. Today, we have all gathered to exchange positive energy and to support the Artsakh Chamber Orchestra as it seeks prominence on major stages," said Mher Ananyan, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of AraratBank.
"The world-renowned artist Sergey Khachatryan is sharing the stage with us. This is extremely important for us and for our orchestra. Performing with a soloist like Sergey Khachatryan sets a high standard, and once you reach a certain height, you should strive to set the bar even higher. We highly commend the fact that a financial institution, such as AraratBank, appreciates classical music and promotes its development in our country," noted Narek Hakhnazaryan, Artistic Director and Conductor of the Artsakh Orchestra and Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia.
AraratBank is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
